DIY Hair masks for soft, shiny locks!!

Don't we all just want to have soft, shiny hair? I have decided to share some DIY hair masks that you can make and do from the comfort of your own home with all you babes for all hair types. This is also an inexpensive way to treat your hair without breaking the bank!

All Hair Types hair mask : Avocado and Honey

Cut the Avocado and scoop out the flesh from it, then mix in a tablespoon of preferably organic honey. Apply this mixture to your hair and allow it to sit for 20 minutes before rinsing it off in the shower.

Avocado and Honey

Avocados are rich in a big variety of vitamins and nutrients, including vitamin E and protein, both of which your hair needs to remain soft, shiny and healthy. Honey is a natural antibacterial agent, which will also keep your scalp clean and healthy.

Dry Hair : Olive Oil and Egg

That dry locks of yours in need of some serious TLC? Combine three tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and two eggs together and apply the mixture to your hair and let the mixture sit for 20 minutes before rinsing in the shower.

The olive oil will help hydrate brittle, dry hair, while the protein in the eggs will promote healthy hair growth.

Oily Hair : Apple Cider Vinegar and Lemon

Combine 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar with the grated peel of an entire lemon and allow it to sit in the bowl together for a while so the lemon can draw into the apple cider vinegar. Then apply it to your hair for 15 minutes to absorb the excess oil from your scalp, and then rinse in the shower.

Apple cider vinegar and lemon

Apple cider vinegar will remove build up from any products used to style your hair that may be causing some of the oiliness and conditioners and strengthen the hair shaft, leaving you with soft, shiny strands. The apple cider vinegar will help to balance the hair’s pH level, kill bacteria, and is also a cure for dandruff.

Dry, Flaky Scalp and Hair: Banana, Honey and Almond oil

Mash together 1/2 a ripe banana and add two tablespoons of honey and a few drops of almond oil and allow it to set with a shower cap on for 20 minutes before rinsing.

Banana, Almond and Honey

Bananas can increase the moisture of your hair, smooth frizz and soothe your itchy scalp.

Give one of these masks a go and let us know how your hair felt afterwards! It is a great, inexpensive way to give your hair a good treat. Your hair will love you forever.

XOXO
